Purpose: A community event to acknowledge, thank and pray for the first responders who daily are willing to risk their lives to keep their communities safe; to show appreciation to the families of first responders for their sacrifices.

This year’s attendees for the ceremony were men and women from:

• Robeson County Sheriff’s Office (Sheriff Burnis Wilkins)

• North Carolina Highway Patrol, Troop B, District VII (First Sergeant James Jackson)

• NOTE: Robeson County Emergency Management did not attend
